The “A. D. Xenopol” Institute of History

was awarded the Centennial of the Great Union Anniversary Medal conferred by decree of the Presidency of Romania on November 15, 2019. The Anniversary Medal was granted “as a token of appreciation for the efforts made to preserve and promote the memory of the events and the participants in the achievement of national unity and the modern Romanian state, thus contributing to the defense and perpetuation of the values for which the Great Union was accomplished.
